My name is Natalie Marchuk and I am 37. Before the war I considered myself a lucky woman because I lived in my favorite house with love and harmony, and also had a job in a job I wanted. As a family we enjoyed every moment we spent together. My husband and I have two children. Arina and Svyatoslav. But suddenly the war came and my life changed. A lot of questions came to me and I ended up here in the Netherlands, together with my children. It was already very difficult morally, but I don't know the language and the mentality of this country and people either. I found it difficult to keep a grip on myself and prepare for a new life, thinking that life goes on, despite the war in my own country…. But now we are here in the Netherlands as a whole family. And I met good, nice local people who helped me with whatever they could. And the amazing thing is that they do it all from their heart. I am grateful for your open doors, for the opportunity to live here in peace and tranquility, for your compassion, understanding and sincere smiles. Thank you! The Marchuk family.
