My name is Olga and I came to the Netherlands with my 11-year-old daughter last spring, having fled a terrible war. I remember the morning of February 24, 2022 all too well: We live near Buchi and Irpin, and were awakened that morning by terrifying explosions…
We have now been more than 2000 kilometers away from home for a whole year. But thanks to very special Dutch people, we realize that we are not alone. They support us and that is very important and also very necessary for us. I am grateful to everyone in this beautiful country.
