On Saturday afternoon the consul was in Haren, organized by the Ukrainian Foundation in the Netherlands, IUCN, Maartenscollege and the municipality. Hundreds of people were present, but guess what? To get your papers in order, they needed a passport photo. There was no money for that and more than 60 people did not have a passport photo. We tackled this together. We called the photo shop in Haren. We were there at 3:00 pm. The owner of the business has arrived as soon as possible to help. We walked there in a long procession. We got a discount. The foundation paid for the photos, because the people had no money. During the walk we realized that the people also had to go back. In time before the consul left. We then put a request in the app group of the Social Brigade: who can bring people back to the Maartens college? Within fifteen minutes we had 5 drivers who could drive. And so everyone was ready at 4:00 PM and everyone had the right papers before 5:00 PM.
