Effatha Guyot's primary school has been transformed into a play paradise. A group of committed teachers and local residents have this afternoon done within a working week.
Make-up, bouncy castle, crafts, play outside, play football, eat and drink something delicious. And a (deaf) magician who comes to entertain the children.
In between, the ambassador of Ukraine spontaneously drops by to talk to the parents.
Almost all residents of Nescio come along. We ask what is needed. "We would like to learn Dutch and our children have to go to school."
The seed for the Dutch lesson and for education for the children has been planted.
